Kitchener Newborn Session | Meet Poppy Lee

I had the opportunity to capture a fun and laid back Kitchener newborn session for this really cool and down to earth family.

When I arrive at a family’s home for their newborn session I usually ask Dad for a quick tour to check out the window light and to get a feel for the home’s character and unique features. I love incorporating the family’s art, fur siblings and special pieces of furniture whenever possible.

In this case I was instantly drawn to their gorgeous staircase! Can you blame me? Gorgeous light, inspirational poster and sweet sleepy newborn.

I can picture lots of snuggles, story time and maybe a little video gaming on this couch with dad in the future.

Poppy Lee and Marlie are bound to be best friends. Poppy Lee’s nursery was decorated with her very talented Mom’s artwork.

Ruby, Alex and Poppy Lee, it was such a pleasure meeting you and helping you document these very 1st days as new Parents. I can’t wait to see how much Poppy Lee grows and changes at our Simply Baby session later Summer.
