I met the incredibly sweet Reed at her recent New Hamburg Newborn Session. (We captured Emily’s beautiful outdoor Maternity session a few weeks ago: here)
After a long 36 hour delivery Miss Reed Isla arrived and is beyond precious! (Good job Momma!) Reed is named after a part of the bag pipes which plays a huge part in Andrew and Emily’s lives and love story as a couple. Emily and Andrew met while members of the Port Dover Pipe Band & Andrew is the now talented and decorated Piper behind “Piper in the Burg“.
Reed was excited to have me at her home and didn’t want to miss a beat. I loved that she was so bright eyed and bushy tailed – because… can you even handle this awake portrait??

Emily has done an amazing job styling and decorating their New Hamburg home. I maaaay have asked if I could move in 😉 I love capturing in home sessions because I get to document baby’s first home and their new environment. I love that they will have these images to look back on when they are grown to see their first family home.
