An In Studio Newborn Session is always a delight to capture.
They are so intimate and special for families.
Sweet Noah’s session was captured some time before our extended COVID closure and he is a little older now however I just had to share all the sweet moments we captured.
Mom, Dad and big sister Avery were so lovely and beautiful.
The session was extra special as I have worked with Tara prior, capturing her branding portraits through my commercial division (Simply Curate & Co.)

As my studio is quaint, neutral and light, it was a perfect setting for portraits to welcome sweet baby Noah.
For our newborn sessions, I suggest a neutral and light wardrobe with muted colours and solid patterns. This ensures consistent neutral tones throughout the space and that the focus remains on baby. Tara looked stunning in our soft blue gown from the Studio wardrobe as well as her lovely rose coloured dress from her personal collection.
Big sister Avery wore the most precious lace and eyelet dress that worked perfectly with the space.
We offer a line of neutral coloured swaddles for baby.
Mom and Dad chose a classic white swaddle for baby Noah.
Although this session is not in home, we have a lovely set up with a bed and crib in a neutral, minimalistic style to keep it cozy and comfortable.
The light from our beautiful studio windows was also utilized during this session, providing gorgeous natural light.
Throughout the entire session I use a prompts and light direction but mostly let the family do what they are going to do naturally.
This ensures their interactions and moments are authentic. Those moments are the most precious and true to this time in their lives.
When it was time for sibling portraits, Avery was such a delight and was so good at giving Noah kisses on the top of his head.
