My visit with Sophia this past week was an absolute joy, one that no epic Ontario Ice Storm would hold me back from!
Sophia’s Newborn Session was amazing and catching up with this beautiful family was an added bonus!
Working with returning clients is always so sweet, I love watching families grow and being able to capture milestone moments is beyond special.
This family was no exception, they were incredibly photogenic and so so lovely.
Both mom (a Megan Markle look-a-like) and dad were smitten with their new daughter!
And sister Ava, could not be happier to have her new sister Sophia!
On the day of our session, the crazy April ice storm surprisingly was a huge benefit.
The snow and ice acted as a beautiful light reflector through their windows for their portraits and gave our session a beautiful bright feel.
(with that being said though, now that the session is over this snow can go 😉 )
This family of four has their hands full with a newborn and a toddler, however all this excitement is what makes for a perfect session!
Many parents worry about how their young children will co-operate during a session. A child’s unpredictable behavior is what I LOVE, it makes final portraits real and memorable.
It may seem like the session is flying by when there are toddlers involved however I capture their portraits in just a split second and they are perfect for memorable photos to look back on for years and years.
It was so fun capturing the new addition to this family and watching them grow from one daughter to two!
