I was so lucky to capture this wonderful growing family!
When I arrived I was greeted by the sweetest little guy who had just recently been promoted to Big Brother.
Benjamin was so excited to introduce me to his new baby brother Henry!
From the moment I stepped into this family’s home I was smitten with their neutral decor. It was a dream to capture this special session in their space. All the neutrals, greys, whites, and creams were the perfect backdrop for our session with this new family of four.
I also fell in love with this family’s pup, Stella.
She knew how to really work it for the camera!
Many parents worry about how a session will transpire with a toddler…
When you reserve a session with Yellow Brick Road Photography there is nothing to worry about at all, I have lots of tricks up my sleeve when it comes to capturing quick moving toddlers.
For big brother Benjamin, we made sure to capture portraits with his brother as well as family portraits first, and then the timing works well to transition into toddler lunch time or nap time.
As a mom with two little boys myself, it warmed my heart to see Henry and Benjamin’s mom, Heather with her two sons.
This portrait below is one of my favorites from the session, Benjamin and Heather lovingly exchanging in Eskimo kisses while little brother sleeps in her arms.
