I love capturing Newborn Sessions at your Family’s home.
It is such a special memory to incorporate baby’s first home and nursery in the session.
Here is a look back at sweet Jonas’ Brampton Newborn session. (Somehow this little guy is already 10 month old! Time flies!)
I have worked with Gulsah and family prior, when capturing their sweet daughter Selena.
When they invited me into their home to capture their newest addition, little baby Jonas, I was so honoured and excited!
(Gulsah has such an eye for design!)
Gulsah has also been a lovely supporter and friend of Yellow Brick Road Photography for several years now.
To be asked to capture memories of her family is so very special!
I could not have asked for a more welcoming and beautiful family to capture for their Brampton Newborn session.
Their home was styled so beautifully and just so happened to be in my branding colours! (I love when that happens)
They did so well in coordinating their outfits in neutral tones. This really helps to keep the session consistent and keeps the focus on baby.
We started this session in their stunning master bedroom which had plenty of natural light beaming in. This is where we captured their family portraits all cozied up in bed with baby Jonas swaddled in our provided newborn swaddle.
Following these family portraits, we moved onto sibling portraits. Selena was as cute as a button and did an amazing job holding her little brother. You can tell just how much she loves him!
I absolutely love meeting babies for the first time and seeing who they look like and if they look like their older sibling. Jonas definitely reminded me of when Selena was little and it took me right back to her session.
Following sibling portraits, I love to start capturing those small details like baby lips, soft baby skin and hair. Let me tell you, Jonas had the best baby hair and Dad was very great in making sure it was styled and quaffed perfectly throughout the session.
It was such a pleasure being able to capture this family again. They are always busting out in dances and laughs!
I’m grateful to be able to capture these moments for them to look back on for years to come.
I can’t wait to work with them again and capture Jonas in October for his Birthday Session!
