This newborn session has a very special spot in my heart! Not only is sweet Mayzie a gorgeous little red head baby (my soft spot), she is also my beautiful new niece and the 2nd sweet little girl for my brother and his awesome fiancee.
I visited my baby brother Beau and (soon to be) sister in law Rebecca a few days after Mayzie arrived way back in Jan. She arrived a perfect 7lbs, 9oz with gorgeous head full of orange tinted peach fuzz.
I can’t believe that it has been 4 months already since we captured the session at their family home in Guelph. They have such a great space that is inviting, cozy and full of great spaces for big sister Ella to create, dream and play!
After meeting Mayzie and getting in some aunty snuggles, we set up in the living room to capture a few candid family images. Miss Mayzie was not up for sleeping during our session, and that’s ok – I’m there to capture and document the real life beautiful everyday moments while adjusting to newborn life.
The way my brother lovingly caressed Rebecca while smiling and gazing down at his little babe – seriously made my heart melt!
Ella! She couldn’t be a better big sister! She was so excited to meet her sister and was literally counting down the days on her calendar above her bed.
And can you even handle Ella’s ringlets? Adorable!
While little sister was having a top up of milk we couldn’t resist in a little new baby celebration dancing!
Don’t you just want to be 4 again!!?
