Studio Newborn Session | Welcoming Baby Colt

Initially a studio newborn session wasn’t what we had planned for baby Colt however COVID closures had other plans.

We were supposed to get together at the hospital to meet sweet Colt during a Fresh 48 in hospital newborn session.

With the restrictions in place during quarantine we had to wait until it was safe to get together.

When photographers were given the approval to re-open in Stage 2, I was beyond excited to plan the L Family’s session.

Little Colt is two months old now and was an absolute DREAM to capture.

Very much like his brother, he has the cutest cheeks and juicy baby lips.

What makes Newborn sessions even more special is when they are repeat newborn families <3

It was fun seeing how much J has grown and changed.

See one of my favourite portraits from J’s Fresh 48 session HERE

Don’t they look so similar as newborns?

Below might be one of the most memorable and special captures of my career.

Colt has two precious baby angels looking over him and when Mom inquired about incorporating this precious portrait – it was an absolutely yes.

We couldn’t believe how fast a smile INSTANTLY came over Colt’s face.

It was an incredibly touching and moving moment.

One I will never forget.
